Cookie policy
Which cookies and similar technologies this website may use, why, and how you stay in control. Last updated: 9 October 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a comparable way, and we apply the same rules to both. They let a site remember things between pages and visits and can help measure how a site is used.
Consent comes first
We use Google Consent Mode v2 with every optional category set to denied by default. When you first arrive, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. They load only if you choose “Accept all”, or switch a category on under “Customise”. If you choose “Reject non-essential”, only the essential storage described below is used.
What we use
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
wtl_consent_v1 | Essential (local storage) | Remembers your cookie choice | Until you clear it |
_ga, _ga_* | Analytics — only with consent | Google Analytics measurement of page use | Up to 2 years |
_gcl_au | Advertising — only with consent | Google Ads conversion measurement | Up to 90 days |
Third-party websites
When you follow a “Visit official site” link you leave Worth the Load. The publisher’s website sets its own cookies under its own policy, so please review it before creating an account or making a purchase.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; the banner will then appear again on your next visit.
